August 2026 Machine Tool Shipping Brief: Batch Deliveries to Indian Market Drive Steady Growth in Overseas Exports

Sep 02, 2026

This month, aligned with the goals of key overseas market expansion and order fulfillment, the factory has coordinated all workstreams including production scheduling, export customs declaration, logistics and supporting services, and successfully completed the monthly shipping target for wire cut electrical discharge machines (WEDM). A total of 13 units were shipped in August, marking a 20% month-on-month increase from July. Bulk orders from the Indian market were delivered centrally, making India the top export market for the month.

Overall Shipping Overview for August

August shipments featured a rising share of overseas orders and outstanding performance in core markets. A total of 13 wire cut EDM units were dispatched, up 20% month-on-month from July and maintaining steady growth compared with the same period last year.

Overseas orders accounted for a dominant share of total shipments this month. The Indian market stood as the core growth driver, with pre-negotiated bulk orders delivered centrally in August. This makes India the largest export market for the month, and also validates the feasibility of the factory’s wire cut EDM export strategy targeting the South Asian market.

Key Highlights of August Shipments

Centralized order fulfillment for the Indian market aligns with targeted product strategy. Driven by the sustained release of manufacturing equipment renewal demand across India in the first half of the year, bulk orders previously secured from multiple Indian distributors and end-user manufacturers entered production and were dispatched this month. Customers span hardware processing, auto parts supporting, mold manufacturing and other sectors. The order portfolio includes both standard wire cut EDM machines and customized high-precision models, with a product mix highly aligned with the factory’s promotion positioning for the South Asian market, laying a solid foundation for deeper market penetration going forward.

Full-process coordination ensures smooth and controllable export customs clearance. For bulk export orders to India, the factory established end-to-end alignment across production, quality inspection, customs declaration and logistics in advance. Immediately after production completion, third-party institutions were engaged to conduct export commodity inspection, while HS codes, certificates of origin and full set of export documents were verified simultaneously to ensure full compliance with Indian customs import requirements. All orders shipped to India this month encountered no document discrepancies or customs clearance delays, with overall transit timelines stable and controllable.

Upfront supporting services enable customers to ramp up production quickly. In response to the bulk delivery schedule for Indian customers, the factory prepared English versions of equipment installation manuals and operation guide videos in advance, and reserved dedicated after-sales technical support channels. For customers requesting on-site installation and commissioning, preliminary arrangements have been made with the overseas service team to ensure customers can complete equipment deployment and put machines into production quickly upon receipt.

Work Plan for September

Optimize production scheduling to secure order delivery lead times. For pending orders in the Indian market, we will prioritize fulfillment sequences and coordinate with the production department to adjust shift arrangements. We will shorten production cycles while upholding strict quality control, to match customers’ agreed delivery dates as closely as possible and ensure on-time order fulfillment.

Lock in logistics capacity in advance to proactively manage shipping costs. Working with the foreign trade department, we will finalize the September shipping schedule for the Indian route and secure shipping space and freight rates with forwarders in advance, to hedge against fluctuations in ocean freight prices and contain cost increases for small-batch orders.

Improve stocking mechanism for core components to support custom order fulfillment. For customized components commonly required by the Indian market, we will raise safety stock levels and stock up in advance based on confirmed orders and market forecasts, to reduce last-minute rush purchases and ensure efficient, cost-effective fulfillment of custom orders.

Follow up on end-to-end delivery of shipped orders to maintain customer partnerships. We will continuously track the customs clearance and acceptance progress of equipment delivered to Indian customers, respond promptly to technical and operational inquiries, and deliver high-quality after-sales support. This will strengthen cooperative customer relationships and pave the way for repeat orders and further market expansion.

Overall, August shipments achieved a breakthrough in batch deliveries to the key Indian market, validating the feasibility of the overseas market expansion strategy. In September, we will advance work around four priorities: securing delivery, controlling costs, replenishing inventory, and strengthening services. We will spare no effort to ensure the delivery quality of wire cut EDM machine orders and steadily advance the pace of overseas market expansion.
